Over 300 local balloonists ensure year round appreciation of the art of ballooning.
Of course, there are plenty of other opportunities for entertainment available throughout the community. Among the most popular destinations is the Albuquerque Biological Park, consisting of three separate areas. The Albuquerque Aquarium gives desert dwellers a chance to experience the wonder and mystery of marine life. The top notch Rio Grande Zoo offers a chance to explore drier examples of nature’s splendor. Rounding out the impressive trio is the Rio Grande Botanic Garden. Sixteen acres of New Mexico land lead to a 10,000 square foot conservatory, displaying wonders from Mexico to the Mediterranean.
